When I last heard of Trixie she and her parents had moved to Lake Chapala. She was still plying her trade among the tourists and with occasional ads in selected U.S. publications. ARE YOU CAPABLE OF DOING THIS? If you have the least inclination to art I have no doubt that you can. In Trixie's case her success was not necessarily based on her ability as an artist but her enterprising ability in marketing the artistic talents of others.
